We decided to buy Columbia's Model SPM 20 Machines in 2020; however, covid and the lockdown hit us hard and we could only start by mid of 2021. The installation and commissioning were done very swiftly by Columbia even during the travel restrictions. The entire team would constantly keep in touch with me. We started manufacturing solid blocks, flyash bricks and paver blocks and currently enjoying Production of all value-added premium products. I would always recommend Columbia Machines to others, no second thought about it.  

The adoption of Columbia's SPM 20 marked the beginning of a journey focused on unwavering quality and consistency. In 2018, a monumental order from L&T Dholera showcased their dedication to excellence. This success led to the acquisition of marvel -the SPM 20 from Columbia Machine. From  2018-2021, these machine tirelessly operated, producing a staggeting 4,00,000 sqm of double layered 60mm pavers. This showcased their huge influence and expertise in the industry. particularly with the largest project we have ever undertaken

The earlier production technology was labor oriented resulting in lower output. With the introduction of Columbia Machine, we started producing almost 10 times of output with the same manpower. We can produce around 20000-22000 paver blocks of 40 N/mm2 in a shift. With the addition of a second plant in 2019, our production capacity exceeds 3 million square feet in a year, making us the largest producer in western Assam.

We are satisfied and very happy with the performance of Columbia machine. Proper and regular maintenance will enable Columbia Machines to excel in performance. Having good strength, Columbia machines can produce 50 N/mm² or 40 N/mm² or any pavers as per the requirements.  With Columbia Machines, we can maintain daily average production of 16000-17000 double layered pavers and 20000 single-layered pavers. Multi-coloured pavers made from Columbia Machines opened the doors of a new product market for us in Bangalore and the South Indian Market.

Columbia Concrete Block Machines not only ensure top-tier quality but also boast coast effective production. In contrast, machines from China and Germany feature larger pallets but do not provide consistent height and weight in paver blocks. Despite arguments in favour of larger pallets, I firmly believe that Columbia's compact pallet size is an advantage.

Columbia became our sole reason for success, as our products got accepted for various projects of JNPT,  CIDCO and others when compared with other German and Chinese brands. The 120mm paver blocks made from Columbia Machine got widely used in container yards, ports and other heavy-duty applications and lasted for more than 6 years without any maintenance. I have seen so many of my peers who had gone for cheaper machines only to save few lakhs have regretted later and sold off their plant in mere 2 years-time as they could not withstand maintenance and production cost associated with the machine. We are glad we made a right decision in buying a Columbia Concrete Block Machine at the right time. We purchased first block machine in 1995 from Columbia Machine INC, Vancouver. Thereafter, we bought 3 machines from Columbia India in the subsequent 10 years. Columbia's Concrete Block Machine is the best machine in the world and there is still no comparison. The kind of compaction and even density obtained in blocks made by Columbia's Machine due to CVT is difficult to be achieved by any other machine.
